Salome Gugunava received her BA in architecture and Urban Design from the Georgian Technical University, and later her Master of Science from Politecnico di Milano in Architecutre_Architectural Design. Her thesis “Design proposal for a deconstructed city of Aleppo” was sent by the university to participate in Yang Talent Architecture Award (YTAA-2020). She currently practices and teaches urban design and architecture in Tbilisi.
