Mikko Maki is Helsinki (and occasionally Tbilisi) -based researcher, writer, and curator. Mikko is a curator of ‘A Dialogue with a Bench’ project. Scenographic contemporary art, built environment’s role in political conflicts and forgotten objects and ruins within cities’ landscapes are my wider conceptual and theoretical interests. My work usually operates between contemporary art and architecture with a strong research element. Bathing and swimming are the most pleasant way for me to dwell in a city.
