Verena Schmidt studied architecture at the Technical University of Munich and the City College of New York. She was an editorial assistant at DETAIL publishing house and a member of the editorial group ARCH+ Berlin. She worked as a freelancer in architectural offices, including HEIDE & VON BECKERATH in Berlin. From 2014-17 she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Sustainable Urbanism at TU Braunschweig in teaching and research.
