Denis Maksimov is an aesthetico-political theorist and independent curator. He is a co-founder of the artistic research collective and think-tank Avenir Institute and a co-convenor of the research seminars Power Vertical: Politics and Aesthetics in the Global East and Queer, Weird, Other.
