Maria Mileeva is an associate lecturer at The Courtauld Institute of Art in London. She is an art historian working on twentieth and twenty-first century art and visual culture of Russia, the former Soviet Union, and its transnational entanglements with Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas.
