In the past year, we have witnessed the rise of social crises in Chile, Lebanon, the United States, and Brazil, among others. Most of these countries, although some of us wouldn’t want to admit it, share similar causes for the dispute. In fact, the origins of these critical uprisings reside in economic inequality as well as gender and race discrimination that have physically defined our cities.
